{"id":182712,"date":"2025-06-14T03:04:21","date_gmt":"2025-06-14T03:04:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/182712\/"},"modified":"2025-06-14T03:04:21","modified_gmt":"2025-06-14T03:04:21","slug":"met-sets-out-policing-plans-ahead-of-protests-this-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/182712\/","title":{"rendered":"Met sets out policing plans ahead of protests this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Met is preparing for another busy weekend in the capital with a protest in Tower Hamlets and Westminster.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Saturday 14 June, a protest against proposals for a new Chinese embassy will take place between 14:00hrs until 17:00hrs at Royal Mint Court, north of Tower Bridge. The Met has set out conditions, which are detailed below. <\/p>\n<p>A protest organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), Stop the War and other groups is also due to take place on Saturday at 14:00hrs in Parliament Square. There are currently no conditions in place, however there will be a police presence to ensure the protest takes place safely and any incidents can be dealt with.
