Manchester United will face a tall order trying to bring one emerging 22-year-old former Paris Saint-Germain talent to Old Trafford for Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim<\/a> will begin to lay the foundations for his Manchester United first-team<\/a> squad overhaul ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 40-year-old United manager<\/a> inherited the Red Devils squad from Erik ten Hag<\/a> last November after he left Sporting CP during the 2024-25 season.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Amorim did see additions to his United<\/a> squad in the January transfer window after Patrick Dorgu<\/a> and Ayden Heaven<\/a> were signed from Lecce and Arsenal respectively.<\/p>\n

However, the former Sporting CP manager is expected to have a bigger clearout at Old Trafford this summer, including adding new players to his ranks for next season.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils wasted no time and already made their first major summer signing this month, with United landing Matheus Cunha from Wolves<\/a> for a \u00a362.5m fee.<\/p>\n

Hugo Ekitike has been linked with Manchester United<\/a> and the Eintracht Frankfurt striker is making a name for himself during his spell with the Bundesliga club.<\/p>\n

The French talent spent time on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt in February 2024 after Paris Saint-Germain loaned him out and the German side had an option to buy him.<\/p>\n

Ekitike impressed during his time at the Deutsche Bank Park and Eintracht Frankfurt made the decision to sign the 22-year-old striker for a \u00a314.1m (\u20ac16.5m) fee.<\/p>\n

The former PSG player\u2019s permanent move was completed in April 2024 and Ekitike has continued to attract interest amid his development at Eintracht Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

However, Eintracht Frankfurt CEO Markus Krosche has now insisted that the Bundesliga outfit will play hardball over talks to sign Ekitike from the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the price isn\u2019t right, then he\u2019ll just stay with us,\u201d he told Wiesbadener Kurier, as per Sky Sport Germany<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t have to sell Hugo.\u201d<\/p>\n

How much would Eintracht Frankfurt starlet Hugo Ekitike cost Man Utd in a summer transfer?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hugo Ekitike scored an impressive 22 times and registered 12 assists in 48 matches across all competitions for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n

United are not the only club interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt\u2019s Ekitike, with Premier League clubs Chelsea and Liverpool both linked with the former PSG striker.<\/p>\n

However, Ekitike\u2019s contract at the Deutsche Bank Park runs until 2029 and the French talent won\u2019t come cheap amid the remarks from club CEO Markus Krosche.<\/p>\n
