Liverpool<\/a> are set to take their summer spending spree past \u00a3200million after agreeing a record-breaking deal to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen.<\/p>\n

The Germany star will complete a switch to the Premier League<\/a> champions for a club-record \u00a3100m, which could rise to a British-record \u00a3116m, after turning down Manchester City<\/a>, Bayern Munich<\/a> and Real Madrid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Reds will now look to sign \u00a345m-rated Bournemouth<\/a> left back Milos Kerkez.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It is understood they are in direct contact with the Cherries and will try to negotiate a lower fee.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They are also targeting a No 9 or defender if they can balance the books with outgoings.<\/p>\n

Attacking midfielder Wirtz, 22, is on holiday and expected to have a medical in England when that finishes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He has held talks with Arne Slot, who has outlined a vision to him over playing in the No 10 role, although he can play wide, deeper in midfield and as a striker.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have already signed Valencia keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili for \u00a329m and Leverkusen\u2019s Jeremie Frimpong for \u00a329.5m.<\/p>\n
