Betsy Swain<\/a> (Sydney Martin<\/a>) was on a mission in tonight\u2019s Coronation Street<\/a> as she tried to find answers regarding the life her mum lived before she died.<\/p>\n Lisa Swain<\/a>\u2019s (Vicky Myers<\/a>) ex-partner Becky was also a copper, but she apparently died after being hit by a car<\/a>.<\/p>\n This week, Lisa told Carla Connor<\/a> (Alison King<\/a>) more about Becky\u2019s life as a police officer<\/a>. She said that, before her death, Becky was being investigated by the anti-corruption unit, and Lisa was keen to keep that information from her daughter.<\/p>\n Lisa emotionally opened up about how she and Becky had fought over the allegations the day Becky was killed, and though the investigation was dropped, she didn\u2019t get the funeral she deserved.<\/p>\n \t\t Lisa attempted to talk to Betsy about her mum, but when Betsy insisted that she hadn\u2019t read the letter because she wasn\u2019t interested in knowing who her sperm donor was, Lisa decided to keep quiet about what the letter was really about.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, Betsy wasn\u2019t being entirely honest either, as she later revealed to Lauren Bolton<\/a> (Cait Fitton<\/a>) that she knew exactly what the letter was about.<\/p>\n She confessed that she was convinced Becky\u2019s hit and run had been a coverup of some sort, and asked Lauren for her help in getting to the bottom of things.<\/p>\n \t\t This involved visiting Logan Radcliffe in prison. The young man is behind bars after killing his brother Mason (Luca Toolan)<\/a>, but it\u2019s also known that Logan and other sibling Matty<\/a> were involved in Becky\u2019s death.<\/p>\n In the prison visiting room, Betsy explained to an arrogant Logan that she wanted to know more about her mum.
