<\/a>Warner Bros. Pictures<\/p>\nEarly projections for the box-office opening of James Gunn\u2019s \u201cSuperman\u201d are starting to roll out with Box-Office Theory<\/a> indicating projections for the movie\u2019s domestic opening weekend range anywhere from $140-185 million.<\/p>\n If accurate, the lowest end of that estimate would have it as the fourth highest opening DC movie ever behind only \u201cBatman v Superman,\u201d \u201cThe Dark Knight Rises\u201d and \u201cThe Dark Knight\u201d which all hover in the $158-166 million range.<\/p>\n The talk comes as lots more information about the film continues to roll out daily. Gunn confirms the film has a post-credits scene but it \u201cmay not be exactly what audiences have come to expect\u201d he tells EW<\/a>.<\/p>\n He adds his philosophy about post-credit scenes comes to him from his time at Marvel \u2013 namely expect it to be more standalone Howard the Duck-style from the first \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d as opposed to setting up another project like he did on the first \u201cGuardians\u201d sequel.<\/p>\n Actor Edi Gathegi also spoke with EW<\/a> and says that unlike his one-and-done role of Darwin in \u201cX-Men: First Class\u201d over at Marvel, his role in this film as Mister Terrific is expected to continue beyond this movie: \u201cThis job is kind of undoing the wrongs of Darwin. I know that as it stands right now, this isn\u2019t the only project that I\u2019ll be in.\u201d<\/p>\n Also recently posted was a \u2018Day in the Life\u2019 style video in which Skyler Gisondo shows off his day in character as Jimmy Olsen working at the Daily Planet. Turns out this Jimmy has some serious rizz too.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
