A police car has been ‘badly damaged’ in a crash on a major Manchester road this morning (June 14).<\/p>\n

The collision, which took place on Rochdale Road in Manchester at around 8.35am, involved another vehicle. One eyewitness told the Manchester Evening News that the other vehicle involved in the crash was a taxi and said that the police car was ‘badly damaged’.<\/p>\n

No serious injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made yet, according to Greater Manchester Police.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) attended the incident with two fire engines spotted at the scene.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “Shortly after 8:40am this morning (Saturday 14 June), two fire engines from Blackley<\/a> and Philips Park Fire Stations were called to attend a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Rochdale<\/a> Road, Manchester.”<\/p>\n

“Crews arrived quickly and worked alongside Greater Manchester Police<\/a> to make the area safe.<\/p>\n

“Firefighters were in attendance for around twenty minutes.”<\/p>\n
