Prince Louis<\/a> had tons of fun at Trooping the Colour<\/a>, but Prince George<\/a> made sure to keep his little brother from going overboard at the royal event.\n<\/p>\n Members of the royal family stepped out in London on June 14 to honor King Charles<\/a> at Trooping the Colour, the public celebrations of the monarch’s birthday. Prince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton<\/a> were on hand with their children \u2014\u00a0Prince George,\u00a011,\u00a0Princess Charlotte<\/a>, 10, and Prince Louis, 7\u00a0\u2014 first participating in the procession through the city before returning to Buckingham Palace for the event’s grand finale: the balcony appearance to watch a flypast.\n<\/p>\n Prince Louis kept up his enthusiastic waving from the iconic landmark, even when the rest of the royals had paused. Although a video of the moment<\/a> showed Prince William, 42, and Princess Kate, 43, looking at their youngest child with smiles, Prince George seemed to realize that no one else was waving. George appeared to tell his little brother to “stop” while quickly grabbing Louis’ arm. Prince Louis took the hint, immediately putting his arms at his sides.\n<\/p>\n Prince William, Prince Louis and Prince George at Trooping the Colour on June 14, 2025.<\/p>\n Aaron Chown\/PA Images via Getty<\/p>\n The moment recalled to last year at the same event, when Princess Charlotte appeared to tell Prince Louis to “stop” as the young prince moved his hips from side to side,\u00a0dancing to the band’s music<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n Despite his brother’s warnings, Prince Louis got plenty of waves in during the King’s birthday parade. While showing off his big smile \u2014 including two adult teeth growing in to fill in the gaps from his missing front teeth! \u2014 the young royal waved to the crowds lined up in London as he rode in a horse-drawn carriage during the procession.\n<\/p>\n Prince Louis waved to those gathered on the palace balcony as well, including mimicking his grandfather’s gesture<\/a>,\u00a0and made sure to turn back and give one final goodbye before heading inside. Two months after his first birthday, William and Kate held their youngest son, who excitedly waved and pointed at the aircrafts during the flypast.\n<\/p>\n Louis also gained attention during Queen Elizabeth<\/a>‘s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022, with animated faces and adorable interactions with older siblings.\n<\/p>\n
