Some recognition, so well-deserved, for my amazing missus \u2013 who never even pauses in her missions to bring smiles into people\u2019s lives. Very proud! Bri.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dobson, now 76, is best known for her unforgettable role as Angie Watts in EastEnders, a character that left a lasting impression on British television history. <\/p>\n<p>Fans quickly took to the comments to echo May\u2019s heartfelt praise, with one writing: \u201cWOW, how cool is that?!!! I&#8217;m so happy for you two! Congratulations!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A second added: \u201cCongratulations to your wonderful lady wife Anita, this was long overdue, love her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A third wrote: \u201cWhat wonderful news &#8211; I&#8217;m so happy for her! And happy for you too of course,\u201d while a fourth said: \u201cCongratulations to Lady May. I had the most fantastic care and attention from Frimley Hospital; blue lights flashing the lot, very exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cIt was scary. I couldn\u2019t get a fork from the table to my mouth without it all going all over the place. But after only a few days, it\u2019s amazing what you can get back. He played at [the] Coachella festival in America and you wouldn\u2019t know he\u2019d been ill. He was top of his game &#8211; brilliant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>May\u2019s surprise performance at Coachella in April alongside rising star Benson Boone marked the star\u2019s first major performance since his health scare.<\/p>\n<p>The couple, who met in 1986 and married in 2000, have long been admired for their strong partnership, both personally and professionally. <\/p>\n<p>During the interview, Dobson also revealed that despite their differing musical roots &#8211; \u201cHe\u2019s heavy metal and I\u2019m theatre\u201d &#8211; they share a love for blues and great songwriting.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s got a collective taste,\u201d she said. \u201cHe likes a bit of opera, classical, really heavy metal and everything in between.
