Alejandro Garnacho"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone is allegedly determined to bring Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho back to the club this summer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/atletico-madrid\/\" title=\"More Atletico Madrid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Atletico Madrid<\/strong><\/a> head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/diego-simeone\/\" title=\"More Diego Simeone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Diego Simeone<\/strong><\/a> is reportedly determined to bring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/man-utd\/\" title=\"More Manchester United\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Manchester United<\/strong><\/a> forward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/alejandro-garnacho\/\" title=\"More Alejandro Garnacho\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Alejandro Garnacho<\/strong><\/a> to the club during this summer&#8217;s transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>Garnacho went on Man United&#8217;s post-season tour despite being left out of the team&#8217;s final match of the 2024-25 Premier League campaign against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/aston-villa\/\" title=\"More Aston Villa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Aston Villa<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, it is understood that the Argentina international has been told to find a new club this summer following a breakdown in his relationship with Red Devils head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/people\/ruben-amorim\/\" title=\"More Ruben Amorim\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Ruben Amorim<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/bayer-leverkusen\/\" title=\"More Bayer Leverkusen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Bayer Leverkusen<\/strong><\/a> have <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/man-utd\/transfer-talk\/news\/immense-garnacho-demands-deny-winger-man-united-transfer-reunion_575536.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">allegedly withdrawn from the race<\/a><\/strong>, but there is not a shortage of interest in Garnacho.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fichajes.net\/noticias\/ojo-garnacho-peticion-cholo-simeone-delantera-20250613.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fichajes<\/a>, Atletico boss Simeone is keen to sign the 20-year-old, who played for the Red and Whites between 2015 and 2020 before making the move to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p class=\"imgI\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho on May 22, 2025\" class=\"vanilla-lazyload article-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/https:\/\/sportsmole-media-prod.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net\/25\/21\/alejandro-garnacho.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Atletico boss Simeone &#8216;keen on Garnacho deal&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Garnacho has scored 26 goals and registered 22 assists in 144 appearances for Man United, including 11 goals and 10 assists in 58 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>However, there remain question marks over his suitability for an Amorim side, as his best work often comes in a wide left position, which is a role that no longer exists in the starting XI.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Devils will not allow him to leave on the cheap, though, with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/aston-villa\/transfer-talk\/news\/united-set-garnacho-asking-price-amid-interest-from-premier-league-rivals_574749.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a \u00a370m price tag<\/a><\/strong> thought to have been set.<\/p>\n<p class=\"imgI\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho on March 16, 2025\" class=\"vanilla-lazyload article-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/https:\/\/sportsmole-media-prod.s3.gra.io.cloud.ovh.net\/25\/11\/alejandro-garnacho.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Could Garnacho remain in the Premier League?<\/p>\n<p>Former Man United scout Mick Brown has talked-up the possibility of Garnacho staying in the Premier League, with Aston Villa and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsmole.co.uk\/football\/chelsea\/\" title=\"More Chelsea\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong class=\"autotag\">Chelsea<\/strong><\/a> thought to be among those interested.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Garnacho would be interested in staying in the Premier League,&#8221; So it\u2019s clear Garnacho isn\u2019t in the plans, and they\u2019re going to accept offers for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are a few English clubs who are interested, and they\u2019ll be keeping a close eye on the situation and preparing to make a move.
