LIVERPOOL are weighing up a \u00a3100million move for Newcastle star Anthony Gordon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Talks were held last summer over an Anfield switch as Toon looked to bring in cash to satisfy Prem financial rules.<\/p>\n

Eddie Howe\u2019s side are now in much better shape with the balance sheets but could have to fend off more interest from Merseyside for the Scouse winger.<\/p>\n

Boyhood Liverpool<\/a> fan Gordon<\/a> moved to St James\u2019 Park from Everton<\/a> for \u00a345m in January 2024.<\/p>\n

He even signed a new contract last October, notching six goals and five assists in the Prem last season.<\/p>\n

But the Reds have committed to a summer spending spree to bolster Arne Slot\u2019s title-winning squad \u2014 already bringing in \u00a329.5m Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong<\/a> from Bayer Leverkusen.<\/p>\n

His old Bayer pal Florian Wirtz<\/a> is set to be the next to follow in a British-record \u00a3116m deal, while left-back Milos Kerkez<\/a> is also expected to arrive for \u00a340m from Bournemouth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

SunSport exclusively revealed earlier this month that the Reds were keen on Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola.<\/a><\/p>\n

But the European champions do not want to lose the Frenchman.<\/p>\n

That means that Liverpool could revive a move for Everton academy graduate Gordon, 24.<\/p>\n

Liverpool had expressed an interest in Gordon\u2019s Toon team-mate Alexander Isak \u2014 but were quoted a whopping \u00a3150m fee for the red-hot Swedish striker.<\/p>\n

And Newcastle<\/a> could seek a loan move for Manchester City\u2019s out-of-favour England<\/a> winger Jack Grealish<\/a> should they lose Gordon to another club this summer.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports claim that the German will net a whopping \u00a3245,000 a week during his Anfield stay – TWELVE TIMES<\/strong>\u00a0what he earned at the BayArena.<\/p>\n
