{"id":185240,"date":"2025-06-15T02:22:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-15T02:22:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/185240\/"},"modified":"2025-06-15T02:22:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-15T02:22:09","slug":"lexus-nottingham-open-2025-results-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/185240\/","title":{"rendered":"Lexus Nottingham Open 2025: Results &#038; updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        Qualfying: Stojsavljevic gets off to winning start in Nottingham<\/p>\n<p>Grass court tennis got underway in Nottingham on Saturday, with several British stars bidding to reach this week\u2019s main draws for the Lexus Nottingham Open.<\/p>\n<p>16-year-old <strong>Mika Stojsavljevic<\/strong> is one match away from her WTA main draw debut after she defeated world No.111 Anasatasia Zakharova 6-2, 6-4.<\/p>\n<p>In the next round she\u2019ll play France\u2019s<strong> Leolia Jeanjean<\/strong>, who knocked out Britain\u2019s <strong>Heather Watson<\/strong> 6-4, 6-1 on Centre Court earlier in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Former runner-up <strong>Jodie Burrage<\/strong> also bowed out against world No.87 <strong>Anca Todini<\/strong> 7-6(2), 6-1 in an hour and 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amarni Banks<\/strong> put in a strong performance against world No.83 Kamilla Rakhimova but lost out in three sets 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s draw, <strong>Arthur Fery<\/strong> cruised past third seed Kyrian Jacquet 6-2, 6-1, to set up a second round clash with <strong>Ugo Blanchet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paul Jubb<\/strong> made it two Brits in to the second round as he knocked out Juan Pablo Ficovich 7-5, 6-3.
