renaissance<\/a>\u00a0has been a key priority for the White House, with particular focus on the American Rust Belt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But companies are warning how <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-14766129\/trump-tariff-negotiator-countries-closest-trade-deals.html\" rel=\"noopener\">turmoil and confusion around Trump&#8217;s trade wars<\/a>\u00a0is slowing the progress made in reinvigorating American factories.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The latest jobs report revealed that <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/yourmoney\/article-14787503\/Fresh-blow-Trump-hiring-slows-flashing-warning-economy.html\" rel=\"noopener\">manufacturing jobs declined by 8,000 last month<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; in China in particular.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">In recent years, a cautious optimism had returned, as supply chain shocks from the pandemic pushed some companies to bring production back to the US.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But frequent changes and uncertainty around where Trump&#8217;s tariff policy is headed has &#8216;got people spooked,&#8217; Andrew\u00a0Anagnost, CEO of Autodesk, told the outlet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The company sells software used by manufacturers to design factories and improve processes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;The current operating mode is just the death to long-term investment,&#8217;
