A teen has been left fighting for his life after an e-bike crash in a village north of Yate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Around 7.10am on Monday, June 9, an e-bike rider crashed<\/a> on the B4060 Station Road, near the George Osmond Archfield Nurseries garden centre and the railway overbridge, in the village of Wickwar, Gloucestershire.<\/p>\n

The rider, a man in his late teens, was found by members of the public and was given first aid before emergency services<\/a> arrived at the scene of the collision.<\/p>\n

The victim suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and, at the time of reporting, remains in hospital.<\/p>\n

His family are aware.<\/p>\n

It is not known if any other vehicles were involved in the crash.<\/p>\n

Initial enquiries were made and police believe several cars passed the scene and may have dashcam footage of the crash.<\/p>\n

These vehicles include a white Jaguar F PACE, a white Nissan Leaf, a grey Nissan Juke and a white Ford Kuga.<\/p>\n

Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information which may assist the police, is asked to get in contact.<\/p>\n

Avon and Somerset Police<\/a> said: “Police investigating after the rider of an electric bike suffered serious injuries are keen to trace anyone who travelled along the B4060 Station Road in Wickwar at the time.<\/p>\n

“The collision happened at about 7.10am on Monday 9 June near George Osmond Archfield Nurseries and the railway overbridge, as the rider was travelling towards Wickwar.<\/p>\n

“Members of the public came across the rider and gave first aid before emergency services attended.<\/p>\n

“Officers have yet to trace any witnesses to the collision and it’s unclear whether any other vehicles were involved.<\/p>\n

“The rider, a man in his late teens, remains in hospital for treatment to potentially life-threatening injuries. His family are aware.<\/p>\n

“Initial CCTV enquiries have established several cars passed the scene at around the relevant time and officers hope they may have dashcam footage or information which could help the investigation.<\/p>\n

“These vehicles include a white Jaguar F PACE, a white Nissan Leaf, a grey Nissan Juke and a white Ford Kuga.<\/p>\n
