Chris Eubank Jr.<\/a> could be set for a massive fight after the proposed rematch with Conor Benn<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Eubank Jr looks set to face Benn for a second time later this year following their action-packed battle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in April.<\/p>\n

The fight took place two-and-a-half years after it was originally scheduled to be, with their October 2022 clash abandoned on fight week after Benn tested positive for a banned substance.<\/p>\n

Despite the lengthy delay, it was arguably worth the wait, with the two men putting on a superb showing, as Eubank Jr claimed bragging rights by securing a unanimous decision victory<\/a> to hand Benn the first loss of his professional career.<\/p>\n

Should the rematch go ahead as expected, Eubank Jr\u2019s manager Elliott \u2018Napper\u2019 Amoakoh has told Talksport<\/a> that his man has been told he will secure a showdown with undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully Canelo gets through Terence Crawford, we get through Conor Benn and then they\u2019ll do it next. So that\u2019s the negotiations that\u2019s going on right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cTurki promised it to us. If Chris comes through that, Eubank Jr-Canelo, here we go. That\u2019s what we want, we get through Conor Benn and then we want Canelo.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Canelo returns to action in September, when he will put his four titles at 168lbs on the line against fellow pound-for-pound star Terence Crawford.<\/a><\/p>\n
