A former ‘world champion’ footballer was pictured visiting a popular Glasgow restaurant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rose Reilly recently popped into Italian eatery Bella Vita in the city’s Mosspark area.<\/p>\n

The 70-year-old, from Ayrshire in Scotland, is known for playing in Scotland’s women’s international football team from 1972 until 1974 and then Italy’s international team from 1984 to 1985.<\/p>\n

Rose started playing for Italy after being asked by the country’s President to play for the national team, where she went on to scoop the 1984 version of the women’s World Cup.<\/p>\n

During her\u00a0career, the Scots star also played with clubs, including\u00a0A.C.F. Milan, Bari, and A.C.F. Prato.<\/p>\n

Sharing her visit to the restaurant on Facebook, Bella Vita said: “One of the biggest names of women’s football, Rose Reilly (Italian world champion women’s football), presenting Pollock Walking Football with a new trophy.<\/p>\n
