Charli XCX<\/strong><\/a> brought an explosion of neon green \u2014 and the stars out \u2014 for her headline show at London\u2019s LIDO Festival on Saturday, June 14.<\/p>\n

As well as curating the festival\u2019s Saturday lineup with collaborators from her viral Brat<\/a> remix album, the British pop star took the stage for a frenetic, often chaotic, but always entertaining showcase of her biggest hits.<\/p>\n

The headline show marked a homecoming of sorts for Charli, 32, who grew up in Essex, just a short distance from East London\u2019s Victoria Park, the site of Saturday\u2019s festival. The mood was celebratory as fans donned neon green outfits in tribute to the hometown girl, and it was clear from the frenzy in the audience that Charli had made it: she was now a bona fide headline act after years of supporting slots at similar festivals.<\/p>\n

Kicking off the night\u2019s party vibes with the remix to \u201c365,\u201d the songstress reeled off an array of hits from her infectious Grammy-winning album, Brat, including \u201cVon Dutch\u201d and the popular \u201cGirl, So Confusing\u201d remix. She also paid homage to her pre-Brat eras with renditions of \u201cI Love It,\u201d the Icona Pop collaboration that arguably first put her on the map in 2012, and \u201cSpeed Drive.\u201d<\/p>\n

As expected for a day of festivities curated by the OG 365 party girl, Charli had at least one of her Brat collaborators join her on stage. Swedish singer and rapper Bladee<\/strong> performed the \u201cRewind\u201d remix with Charli after his own earlier headline slot on the secondary stage.<\/p>\n

Of course, there was much speculation about who would be Charli\u2019s \u201cApple girl\u201d after stars including Chappell Roan<\/strong> and Blackpink\u2019s Ros\u00e9<\/strong> performed her viral \u201cApple\u201d dance at previous Brat shows. This time, the honor went to Amelia Dimoldenberg<\/strong><\/a>, the host of the popular YouTube show Chicken Shop Date.<\/p>\n

Charli\u2019s set was also a hotbed for celebrity spotting: Paul Mescal<\/strong> and Harris Dickinson<\/strong>, the Irish actor\u2019s costar in the upcoming Beatles biopics, were seen<\/a> embracing their inner party girls among the fevered crowd.
