Police<\/a> have closed a major street in Edinburgh amid an ongoing incident.<\/p>\n

There is currently a large police presence in attendance on Cowgate following a report of concern for a person at around 6pm on June 15.<\/p>\n

Emergency services are on the scene, and the public is being advised to avoid the area, reports Edinburgh Live.<\/a><\/p>\n
