King Charles<\/a> and Prince William<\/a> are celebrating Father\u2019s Day, which is on the same day in the U.K. as it is in America. <\/p>\n

King Charles put up a post on Instagram <\/a>showing a picture of his father, Prince Philip, pushing Charles and sister, Princess Anne, on a swing. The caption reads, \u201cTo all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father\u2019s Day today.\u201d<\/p>\n

A second picture in the post shows Queen Camilla standing beside her father Major Bruce Shand at she and then-Prince Charles\u2019 wedding.<\/p>\n

Noticeably absent are any pictures of King Charles with his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry recently pleaded for a reconciliation with his estranged father<\/a> during an interview with the BBC <\/a>after losing a legal battle to regain security for his family in the U.K.<\/p>\n

In that interview, Prince Harry said, \u201cI would love reconciliation with my family. There\u2019s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious. \u00a0I don\u2019t know how much longer my father has.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prince William\u2019s Father\u2019s Day Post Shows Lighter Side<\/p>\n

Despite ongoing tension with his estranged brother, Prince William\u2019s Instagram post celebrating Father\u2019s Day showed his family\u2019s lighter side.<\/p>\n

The post starts with a posed family photo with the prince and his children, Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (10), and Prince Louis (7). But the second photo shows all three kids piled on top of their laughing father.<\/p>\n

The caption reads, \u201cHappy Father\u2019s Day, Papa (before and after!) We love you! G, C & L \ud83d\udc96\u201d<\/p>\n

Royal Family Celebrated King Charles\u2019 Official Birthday<\/p>\n

The British Royal Family had more to celebrate on Father\u2019s Day weekend.<\/p>\n

They also turned out for the annual official celebration of the monarch\u2019s birthday called \u201cTrooping of Color\u201d on Saturday, June 14.<\/p>\n

King Charles\u2019 actual birthday is November 14, but Trooping of the Color has always been held in June.<\/p>\n

For the third year in a row,\u00a0Prince Harry<\/a>\u00a0and his family were absent from the event.<\/p>\n

Prince William and Princess Catherine put up a family picture from the day\u00a0on their Instagram account,<\/a>\u00a0writing, \u201cAnother brilliant day at Trooping the Colour for His Majesty\u2019s Birthday Parade. Thank you to everybody who came, and to all those who took part.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Royal Family Instagram account<\/a>\u00a0also posted a video of the day, but made no mention of Harry and Meghan\u2019s absence. The caption reads, \u201c\ud83d\udc4f A huge thank you to our Military personnel for a truly triumphant Trooping today!<\/p>\n

Over 1,000 soldiers, around 200 horses and approximately 300 musicians came together in a display of Military precision, horsemanship and fanfare to mark The King\u2019s official birthday.<\/p>\n

And what a great way to conclude the celebrations, with a flypast from our friends\u00a0@RAFRedArrows<\/a>\u00a0flying for the first time with a mix of sustainable aviation fuel \u2708\ufe0f\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7\u201d<\/p>\n
