{"id":187548,"date":"2025-06-15T23:36:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-15T23:36:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/187548\/"},"modified":"2025-06-15T23:36:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-15T23:36:10","slug":"man-city-should-now-make-a-move-for-20m-tottenham-player-who-pep-guardiola-gave-advice-to","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/187548\/","title":{"rendered":"Man City should now make a move for \u00a320m Tottenham player who Pep Guardiola gave advice to"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Manchester City have every reason to be satisfied with their summer business so far, with Rayan Cherki, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Ait-Nouri all addressing priority positions in their squad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestercity.news\/tijjani-reijnders-shares-when-man-city-first-tried-to-sign-him-and-how-he-instantly-reacted\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reijnders revealed his conversation with Manchester City<\/a> centered around the Sky Blues needing to sign a brand-new eight, a position he will now likely play for them next season.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Cherki is set to replace Kevin De Bruyne, even if City do not view the Frenchman as the sole successor to the Napoli superstar.<\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestercity.news\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester City<\/a> lacking a natural left-back in their ranks, Ait-Nouri\u2019s addition could prove to be an excellent one next season.<\/p>\n<p>But City still need to sign a right-back to replace the outgoing Kyle Walker but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestercity.news\/tino-livramento-has-now-decided-his-future-as-man-city-identify-him-as-the-perfect-kyle-walker-replacement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tino Livramento is happy at Newcastle United<\/a> and has shown no willingness to play his football elsewhere despite their interest.<\/p>\n<p>Man City should make a move for Tottenham star Djed Spence<\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestercity.news\/fabrizio-romano-says-man-city-are-now-waiting-to-see-if-they-can-sign-40m-premier-league-player\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester City hold Livramento in high esteem<\/a>, if he ends up staying at Newcastle, Djed Spence could be an excellent alternative for Pep Guardiola\u2019s men for a number of reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, at the backend of last season, Guardiola played two high-flying full-backs in Matheus Nunes and Nico O\u2019Reilly, a role that would suit Spence as he first came to prominence as a right wing-back at Nottingham Forest.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/GettyImages-2216342149-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United -
