{"id":187892,"date":"2025-06-16T02:46:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T02:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/187892\/"},"modified":"2025-06-16T02:46:08","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T02:46:08","slug":"chris-stuckmanns-horror-movie-shelby-oaks-sets-october-release","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/187892\/","title":{"rendered":"Chris Stuckmann&#8217;s Horror Movie &#8216;Shelby Oaks&#8217; Sets October Release"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>NEON<\/strong>\u00a0picked up YouTube critic <strong>Chris Stuckmann\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0debut horror movie<strong>\u00a0Shelby Oaks<\/strong>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/features\/interviews\/neon-reshot-shelby-oaks-release-date-1235131778\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indiewire<\/a> reports this weekend that the film will release in theaters on <strong>October 3, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Indiewire\u2019s report also notes that NEON supplied Stuckmann with additional funds to shoot new material after they picked up the movie last year, upping the film\u2019s \u201cgore and violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The outlet details, \u201cThe new footage recontextualizes some of the original story, but the name of the game for Stuckmann and Koontz was fleshing out the practical effects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, \u201cCreature actor <strong>Derek Mears<\/strong>, famous for playing Jason Voorhees in the 2009 Friday the 13th reboot, joined the cast in an undisclosed role.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Horror master\u00a0<strong>Mike Flanagan<\/strong>\u00a0(Doctor Sleep, \u201cThe Fall of the House of Usher\u201d) recently came on board the upcoming\u00a0Shelby Oaks as an executive producer.
