Kanye West<\/a> has claimed that he has been having dreams about apologising to his long-time collaborator Jay-Z<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Back in April, Ye sent a real-life social media apology to his former mentor<\/a>, which appeared to relate to previous unfounded and offensive remarks in which he publicly questioned the mental capacity<\/a> of the rapper and Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0youngest children.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ye also insinuated that the seven-year-old twins of Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z, Rumi and Sir Carter, were conceived through vitro fertilisation. He then deleted the post, but later re-uploaded it, doubling down on his stance and clarifying to his followers that he had not deleted\u00a0it in order to be \u201ca good person\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry Jay Z,\u201d Ye later wrote on X. \u201cI be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real shit none of these rap n****s had my back.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Ye has continued to reference the matter, writing in a now-deleted and more recent post on X (via Complex<\/a>): \u201cAll my dreams have been about apologizing to Jay Z.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

After the initial comments were made about the children, neither Beyonc\u00e9 nor Jay-Z made any public remarks against Ye. It was reported, however, that\u00a0they were considering taking legal action against West.\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s mother\u00a0Tina Knowles then appeared to hit out at Kanye for the remarks<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil,\u201d she wrote on Instagram. \u201cBut I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper. This battle is not mine, but the Lords, I know that God has got this.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The \u2018Crazy In Love\u2019 singer\u2019s father Matthew Knowles then chimed in too<\/a>, telling\u00a0TMZ<\/a>: \u201cPeople pay a price for being stupid, especially in the music industry. I\u2019m hopeful Kanye gets the type of help he needs, in terms of mental health.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Beyond that, West\u2019s ex-wife Kim Kardashian has also hit out at the rapper for the comments. An anonymous source\u00a0spoke to\u00a0Page Six<\/a>\u00a0and said that the reality star was \u201cappalled\u201d by the posts and is \u201cdone trying to be reasonable with Kanye when it comes to communication.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

It emerged earlier this month that the rapper had appeared to once again legally change his name<\/a>, with legal papers having been filed under the name Ye Ye.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This year alone, Ye has written a string of highly controversial posts on X, which saw him\u00a0take back his apology to the Jewish community for his past anti-Semitic remarks<\/a>\u00a0and go on to declare himself \u201ca Nazi\u201d.
