Harry<\/a> spent two days in London last week \u2014 and sensationally claimed his police protection had been downgraded to \u201ctrap\u201d him inside the Royal Family<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last night a source said: \u201cThis is clearly intensely personal.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are fears about what he might do if the decision goes against him. This could not come at a worse time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Round-the-clock protection from armed cops<\/a> was watered down when Harry quit royal duties<\/a> in 2020 and moved to California<\/a> with wife Meghan, 43<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Royal aides have observed strict protocols over the case as it effectively pits Harry<\/a>, 40, and his legal team against the King<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So senior royal circles were left astonished when Harry gave an interview to a newspaper following the latest two-day hearing.<\/p>\n

Speaking to a UK publication for the first time since 2023, he said: \u201cPeople would be shocked by what\u2019s being held back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Insiders said the explosive comments could be a \u201cveiled threat\u201d.<\/p>\n

A source added: \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of worry that Harry could tell all in a book deal or even follow Meghan\u2019s lead and make a podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s hinted he has discovered secrets during the hearings \u2014 particularly regarding the treatment of him and Meghan \u2014 that would shock us all.<\/p>\n

They have also been blasted by insiders who say that the Duke has \u201ccontradicted\u201d himself throughout the case.<\/p>\n

His lawyers told the court he believed he was \u201cforced to step down\u201d because he was \u201cnot being protected by the institution\u201d after Megxit<\/a> \u2014 yet outside court he said security was removed to stop him leaving at all.<\/p>\n

He went on to tell the Daily Telegraph that court evidence heard behind closed doors on Wednesday confirmed his \u201cworst fears\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He added the \u201cwhole legal disclosure\u201d was \u201cdifficult to swallow\u201d. <\/p>\n

The Duke then flew to Ukraine<\/a> to promote his charity work.<\/p>\n

In his six-part Netflix series in 2022, Harry was filmed on the plane out of Britain, calling it his \u201cfreedom flight\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Instead of receiving 24-hour security, he now has a \u201cbespoke\u201d arrangement and each visit to the UK is assessed individually. <\/p>\n

Harry launched a judicial review<\/a> against the decision and lost last year.<\/p>\n

He is appealing against that decision, with those close to him saying he is \u201cdriven to fight injustice\u201d and that this security fight is his \u201cbiggest priority\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, reports have suggested he believes the King could intervene as his private secretary is on the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures.<\/p>\n

Royal author Robert Jobson told The Sun on Sunday: \u201cThe only thing Harry seems to like more than moaning is starring in his courtroom drama. <\/p>\n

“Now he claims that the security decision was all a set-up \u2014 that it was designed to stop him quitting Britain to avoid all the fall-out that followed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the logic of a schoolboy sleuth, he has dreamed up this daft conspiracy.<\/p>\n

\u201cNone of this should have come as a surprise to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cKing Charles warned him to think long and hard before boarding his \u2018freedom flight\u2019 to Canada and then on to Montecito<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe warned Harry to consider all the security implications. <\/p>\n

“Charles wasn\u2019t using it as a threat \u2014 after all it would not have been his call who gets royal security.<\/p>\n

\u201cYet again, instead of owning his choice, Harry chose to wage a costly battle against a sensible system. His logic is thin, and his excuses thinner.<\/p>\n
