Yes, raffia is having its moment in the sun. I know, I know, it comes out every year, but for summer 2025, it\u2019s shed that holiday-only vibe and become incredibly sophisticated.<\/p>\n

Big names like Loewe, Chlo\u00e9 and Prada have spearheaded this upgrade, and now raffia is being used for everything from sculptural handbags to refined footwear. And these aren\u2019t just accessories \u2013 they\u2019re statements. Pieces that show this is more than just a fleeting trend.<\/p>\n

Harvested from the raffia palm, the fibre is biodegradable, breathable and endlessly versatile.<\/p>\n

Reimagined through the lens of high fashion, it\u2019s proving that sustainability and style aren\u2019t mutually exclusive. And it\u2019s also, obviously, cheaper than leather, so if you\u2019re in the market for a designer handbag, this is your time.<\/p>\n

Gone are the days when raffia was reserved for the beach.
