Michael Keane could be ready to make the switch from Everton to Leeds United this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The defender has seen minutes more limited for the Toffees this season, making 14 appearances across the Premier League campaign, with his contract expiring at the end of June. <\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the 32-year-old feels he has more to give, and Daniel Farke<\/a> may be ready to turn to the new home of former Leeds man Angus Kinnear<\/a> to strike a deal this summer.<\/p>\n

As Farke looks to get Leeds<\/a> in shape for life in the Premier League, the boss is looking to add experience to his side. <\/p>\n

Although the Whites built a strong team in the Championship<\/a>, currently, a lack of Premier League-prepared players could leave them struggling for survival.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, Keane has been identified as someone who could kill two birds with one stone, according to the Liverpool Echo<\/a> (16 June).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The report states that having been reliable when called upon by David Moyes this season<\/a>, Leeds are one side that are interested in his services. <\/p>\n

They will, however, face competition with Burnley also holding an interest, although Sheffield United shouldn\u2019t be too much of a threat after their failure to get promoted.<\/p>\n

There has been interest from further afield too, though, with Keane being tracked by sides in the United States and Italy back in January.<\/p>\n

With no cost over a possible deal as things stand, it could be a bargain.<\/p>\n

As Leeds return to the top flight, Farke and the 49ers<\/a> are right to be looking at some squad members who already have what it takes to compete. <\/p>\n

Being able to combine this with a target area is ideal and, although Keane may be reaching the latter stages of his career, he has certainly proved he has the ability to still perform. <\/p>\n

Keane is seemingly hoping to make a move somewhere he can still be given the opportunity to play regularly, but Leeds cannot look at the 32-year-old<\/a> like that, as they already have better players in the squad. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s certainly not a bad deal, though, and one that the West Yorkshire outfit can continue to monitor.<\/p>\n
