Gain Solutions is working to strengthen Puerto Rico\u2019s international business presence by helping local companies pursue export opportunities in Spain.<\/p>\n
The consultancy recently hosted the workshop \u201cWhat You Need to Know to Export Successfully and Conquer the Market\u201d in coordination with the Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC, in Spanish).<\/p>\n
The event brought together more than 25 Puerto Rican businesses interested in participating in an upcoming trade mission to Spain scheduled for November.<\/p>\n
\u201cInternationalization isn\u2019t just for large corporations. Every Puerto Rican business has the potential to expand beyond the island with the right strategy, and this initiative aims to make that possibility more accessible,\u201d said Gain Solutions founder Ricardo Ben\u00edtez-Bajandas.<\/p>\n
The effort builds on a previous mission to Spain organized by Gain Solutions in January on behalf of Invest Puerto Rico, which sought to boost the island\u2019s visibility in European markets.<\/p>\n
In addition to its international work, Gain Solutions has expanded its role in Puerto Rico\u2019s business development ecosystem. In April, the firm participated as a judge for the Enactus Puerto Rico national competition, supporting youth entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n
It also led a session in Parallel18\u2019s XPAND program, an international growth accelerator run by the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust, helping more than 20 startups explore market opportunities in Europe.<\/p>\n
The firm recently convened business leaders at a \u201cC\u00edrculo de amigos de Puerto Rico en Espa\u00f1a\u201d (\u201cCircle of Friends of Puerto Rico in Spain\u201d) dinner in San Juan, bringing together more than 15 companies interested in strengthening commercial ties with Spain.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re committed to highlighting the value Puerto Rico represents to global markets,\u201d said M\u00f3nica Pajar\u00edn, a Gain Solutions representative on the island.<\/p>\n
