This year’s list hosts leaders in every sector, from finance to fitness<\/p>\n
With the world going through technological evolution and political disruption, we\u2019re celebrating the leaders surfing the wave of change.<\/strong><\/p>\n Computing is all about the IT leader. Whether you’re a CIO, CTO, IT director, chief architect or any one of dozens of other titles, it\u2019s our job to know what\u2019s on your mind, what you\u2019re dealing with and how you\u2019re standing out from the competition.<\/p>\n Leading a modern tech department is no easy task. As well as rising demands from the business<\/a>, today\u2019s executives need to deal with both cultural<\/a> and technological<\/a> challenges \u2013 as well as scanning the horizon<\/a> for the next opportunity.<\/p>\n That\u2019s why we produce the IT Leaders 100 every year: to recognise and honour the leaders steering their organisations beyond mere survival and towards success. And this year there was so much to celebrate!<\/p>\n Click here to see the IT Leaders 100 list for 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n From setting up a Tech Bar breaking down barriers between tech and the business, to creating a holistic IoT network across a very unusual estate, to rolling out the UK\u2019s largest operational digital twin, Computing\u2019s Top 100 IT Leaders each have incredible achievements to be proud of from the last 12 months.<\/p>\n We took into account factors like size of organisation, size of department, duration in role and level of transformation achieved to create a longlist of candidates; then, in consultation with industry experts, we undertook the incredibly challenging task of producing the final list \u2013 our assessment of the most influential figures in UK IT today.<\/p>\n Each of the CIOs, VPs, directors, heads, leads and executives on the list has made an outstanding contribution to their sector and the industry overall, whether through their own engineering prowess or their position as an influential figure advancing the cause of technology across the UK.<\/p>\n Tom Allen, Editor of Computing, said, \u201cEvery leader works to advance their own team\u2019s interests, but the individuals on this year\u2019s list go well beyond that.<\/p>\n \u201cEach one is committed to helping their entire organisation grow using technology, and it\u2019s absolutely inspiring to hear about the different ways they\u2019re dealing with similar challenges.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery person in the IT Leaders 100 2025<\/a> should feel immensely proud of their own work, and of the teams and companies they have helped lead to success.
