After iconic Jewellery Quarter pub The Clifden reopened in December, new landlord Will Young named one achievement he wants the pub to be recognised for.<\/p>\n
Forming a team with Hennessey’s owner Gary McDonnell and Kiran Chavda from The Witton Arms, The Lord Clifden looks in safe hands with people who know the industry.<\/p>\n
With positive feedback from patrons so far, there is one recognition the pub is waiting to achieve.<\/p>\n

As soon as we have no real ale on, people will miss it.<\/p>\n “We’re one of the few countries in the world that does real ale and cask ale, it’s a nice quirky unique British thing to have.<\/p>\n “I love beers for all occassion but I have a personal thing to do my part for the real ale industry.<\/p>\n![\"videoHeadline\"\/](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1744624219_981_poster.jpg\")
