A new era dawns on Walford as Ben Wadey<\/a> takes over as EastEnders <\/a>boss from this week, and in order to mark the occasion, a mysterious and intriguing offering of the BBC<\/a> One soap lined up.<\/p>\n \u2018Next week<\/a> marks the start of something big in Walford that we hope will get everyone talking, and it\u2019s only just the beginning,\u2019 said Executive Producer Ben on Friday, teasing what\u2019s to come.<\/p>\n \u2018We\u2019ve got twists, shocks, and plenty of drama lined up for a summer you don\u2019t want to miss.\u2019<\/p>\n The excitement is real\u2026 but if you\u2019ve tried to tune in already, you\u2019ll have noticed that it\u2019s nowhere to be seen.<\/p>\n Why is EastEnders not on BBC iPlayer?<\/p>\n With \u2018something big\u2019 on the horizon<\/a> to kick things off the new chapter, Monday\u2019s (June 16) edition of the long-running serial will be withheld from BBC iPlayer until after it\u2019s broadcast on BBC One at 7:30pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n EastEnders, as audiences know, traditionally drops daily episodes on BBC iPlayer from 6am<\/a>, over 12 hours before they transmit on telly.<\/p>\n But this service will not be available to fans on Monday, who will instead have to wait until the evening to get their daily Walford fix.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t\t\tDo you normally watch EastEnders early on iPlayer?<\/p>\n Yes – I like my early morning visits to Walford<\/p>\n<\/li>\n No – my daily Albert Square fix is better suited to evenings<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Monday\u2019s episode will pick up following Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie\u2019s (Shane Richie) special wedding day<\/a> and Jean (Gillian Wright) is yet again on the warpath, making it her mission to sabotage Harvey (Ross Boatman) and Kathy\u2019s (Gillian Taylforth) new business venture.<\/p>\n Alfie does his best to stop her interference but he\u2019s soon distracted by a phone call from Stacey (Lacey Turner). <\/p>\n \t\t\t\tFollow Metro Soaps on WhatsApp and get all the latest spoilers first!\t\t\t<\/p>\n Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers?
