The London production of Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/a><\/strong> at the Sondheim Theatre has announced a new cast for 2025 to 2026.<\/p>\n

In Les Mis\u00e9rables 40th anniversary year<\/a> and fifth decade, the new cast will start performances at the Sondheim Theatre from 7 July 2025.<\/p>\n

Les Mis\u00e9rables will star Ian McIntosh<\/strong> as Jean Valjean alongside Sam Oladeinde<\/strong> as Javert, Katie Hall<\/strong> as Fantine, Adam Gillen<\/strong> as Th\u00e9nardier, Claire Machin<\/strong> as Madame Th\u00e9nardier, Thiago Phillip Felizardo<\/strong> as Marius, Amena El-kindy<\/strong> as \u00c9ponine, Joe Griffiths-Brown<\/strong> as Enjolras and Izzi Levine<\/strong> as Cosette.<\/p>\n

Cast currently starring in the show but leaving on 5 July 2025 includes Stewart Clarke<\/strong> as Javert, Jacob Dachtler<\/strong> as Marius, Robson Broad<\/strong> as Enjolras, Annabelle Aquino<\/strong> as Cosette, and Luke Kempner<\/strong> as Th\u00e9nardier.<\/p>\n

The company is completed by Hollie Aires, Aidan Banyard, Ella May Carter, Nicholas Carter, Matthew Dale, Irfan Damani, Lila Falce-Bass, Sophie-May Feek, Jessica Johns-Parsons, Se\u00e1n Keany, Chris Kiely, Sam Kipling, Mia Lamb, Sarah Lark, Ollie Llewelyn-Williams, Matthew McConnell, Aaron-Jade Morgan, Adam Pearce, William Pennington, Jordan Simon Pollard, Lewis Renninson, Danielle Rose, Georgia Tapp, Noah Thallon, Imaan Victoria, and Danny Whelan.<\/p>\n

Some of the new cast will step down for 8 weeks from 8 September to 1 November 2025<\/a>, as the show celebrates its 40th anniversary.<\/p>\n

The 40th anniversary cast includes Killian Donnelly<\/a><\/strong> as Jean Valjean (with Ian McIntosh<\/strong> performing at some performances), Bradley Jaden<\/a><\/strong> as Javert, Katie Hall<\/strong> as Fantine, Jac Yarrow<\/strong> as Marius, Shan Ako<\/strong> as \u00c9ponine, Jordan Shaw<\/strong> as Enjolras, Beatrice Penny-Tour\u00e9<\/strong> as Cosette, Adam Gillen<\/strong> as Th\u00e9nardier and Marina Prior<\/strong> as Madame Th\u00e9nardier.<\/p>\n

Les Mis\u00e9rables <\/a><\/strong>hits a huge milestone this October 2025, with the world\u2019s longest-running show<\/a> celebrating its 40th anniversary after opening in London on 8 October 1985.<\/p>\n

The musical has been seen by over 130 million people worldwide in 55 countries, 452 cities, and has been translated into 22 languages. It has won over 180 major awards around the world, among which 4 Olivier Awards, including a special recognition award in April 2025, 8 Tony Awards and 5 Helpmann Awards, and the movie won 3 Oscars.<\/p>\n

Also currently playing as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations is the Les Mis\u00e9rables The Arena Spectacular<\/a><\/strong>, which is now touring Asia<\/a>, with further Asia, Europe and North American tour dates are expected to be announced soon.<\/p>\n

Les Mis\u00e9rables is written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Sch\u00f6nberg and is based on the novel by Victor Hugo, with music by Claude-Michel Sch\u00f6nberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, additional material by James Fenton and adaptation by Trevor Nunn and John Caird. Orchestrations are by Stephen Metcalfe, Christopher Jahnke and Stephen Brooker, with original orchestrations by John Cameron.<\/p>\n
