Royal photographer Arthur Edwards has said that Prince Harry<\/a> looks to be having “second thoughts” after his recent treatment of King Charles. The 40-year-old is currently estranged from his father after admitting during a BBC<\/a> inteview last month that the King, 76, is no longer speaking to him<\/a>. Harry carried out the bombshell interview with the BBC<\/a> after his appeal against a decision to downgrade his UK security failed.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Sun<\/a>\u2019s Royal Exclusive show about his BBC<\/a> interview in May, Mr Edwards said: “He looked so sad in that, and so really down and not upbeat like he was normally. I feel somehow he’s having probably second thoughts. Maybe this is not such a great idea.”<\/p>\n

Agreeing with Arthur, News.com.au’s royal correspondent Bronte Coy shared: \u201cI thought the same. That was only a month ago.<\/p>\n

“For better or worse, Meghan’s forging ahead with her path. But seeing Harry look exactly as you say, looking so defeated.<\/p>\n

“But from that interview and the things he was saying, it just appears he seems quite stuck.”<\/p>\n

In the inteview, released on Princess Charlotte’s birthday, Harry revealed: “[King Charles] won’t speak to me because of this security stuff.”<\/p>\n

Harry is also not on speaking terms with his brother Prince William<\/a>, with the senior royal said to have been “blindsided” by his younger brother’s decision to step down from royal duties in 2020.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex now resides in California with his wife Meghan Markle<\/a> and their children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4.<\/p>\n
