After almost 80 years of flying the proverbial flag for the region of southeastern France known as the Dauphin\u00e9, the race is getting a new moniker.<\/p>\n<p>Starting in 2026, the sport&#8217;s premier tune-up race for the Tour de France will be the Tour Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s &#8230; a mouthful to be sure.
