With a stacked summer of sport<\/a> coming our way, we can\u2019t wait to be inspired once again to lace up our football boots and don a tennis skirt after having watched the pros do what they do best. Manchester is set to be full of screenings, allowing us to get into the spirit all together, and one area of the city centre that\u2019s doing just that is Screen on the Square<\/strong> at New Jackson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Get ready for a summer of free open-air cinema<\/strong> at Screen on The Square, opening this weekend<\/a> in the heart of the city centre. Launching at New Jackson, Renaker\u2019s world-class skyscraper<\/a> district and thriving new neighbourhood nestled at the southern gateway to the city, Screen on the Square will run from Saturday 21st June \u2013 Sunday 14th September<\/strong>, offering a packed programme of films<\/a>, sporting<\/a> and cultural<\/a> events.<\/p>\n From Wimbledon<\/strong> and the Women\u2019s Euros<\/strong>, to Glastonbury<\/strong> and a whole roster of blockbuster films<\/strong> for the whole family \u2013 and some just for the adults \u2013 there\u2019s plenty to get your teeth into this summer at Screen on the Square.<\/p>\n The Screen on the Square event programme is as follows: Films <\/p>\n Screenings on select weekends (morning, matinee and evening), from family favourites to iconic cult classics, animated adventures and intergalactic epics<\/p>\n Glastonbury <\/p>\n Friday 27th June \u2013 Sunday 29th June, 12.00pm \u2013 11.00pm<\/p>\n Wimbledon <\/p>\n Saturday 12th July \u2013 Sunday 13th July, 12.00pm \u2013 7.00pm<\/p>\n UEFA Women\u2019s EUROs <\/p>\n July \u2013 full schedule of matches screened<\/p>\n Guests can enjoy drinks from the licensed outdoor bar<\/strong> and a mini menu delivered straight to their deckchair<\/strong> by Medlock Canteen<\/a>.
