While that size comes in as larger than most of what we’re used to on the market, it was confirmed that a 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 would be available as well.

In addition to the teaser image available directly through OnePlus, a large spec sheet is also available in laterally released leaks (via Android Headlines). The leak also comes with new renders, though they don’t offer a much different picture than what OnePlus released themselves.

The spec list indicates that the OnePlus Watch 3 will come with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display at 466 x 466. With that, the watch would incorporate Wear OS and RTOS. The inclusion of the latter OS allows for more efficient usage, so it’s nice to see OnePlus continue to offer that option.

Advertisement – scroll for more content

The big takeaway comes from the OnePlus Watch 3’s battery. The 47mm model is said to offer over 100 hours of usage. The smaller 43mm edition equips a 345mAh unit, which comes in at an estimated 72 hours total. That’s a difference of 28 hours and more than a full day of battery life.

It isn’t clear if these numbers are based on sole Wear OS-powered usage or if it’s a combination effort, but it is clear that the smaller OnePlus Watch 3 is going to offer a vastly lower amount of power.

This isn’t unexpected. Wear OS models like the Galaxy Watch Ultra offer much longer battery life than their smaller counterparts. Still, it puts the consumer in the place of weighing size over better functionality and battery performance in the OnePlus Watch 3.

OnePlus announced that the Watch 3 and other devices will be announced on July 8.

More on OnePlus:

FTC: We use income earning auto affiliate links. More.

[3160
1685,53,16,15
0":"post-190606","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-gadgets","8":"tag-gadgets","9":"tag-technology","10":"tag-uk","11":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
