Organisers of the<strong> YUM (Your Urmston Matters) Food &amp; Drink Festival<\/strong> have promised that this year\u2019s event is expected to be the biggest yet, with <strong>twice as many stalls and demonstrations<\/strong> as last year and a huge variety of entertainers confirmed.<\/p>\n<p> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-73354\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"urmston food and drink festival\" width=\"627\" height=\"821\" data-lazy- data-lazy- data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/YUM1-2024.jpg\"\/>Credit: Supplied <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight:400;\">Organised by the Love Urmston volunteer team \u2013 a group of residents and business owners helping to drive footfall and excitement to the town \u2013 the event will be held on <strong>Saturday 21st June<\/strong> within the town\u2019s market area on <strong>Railway Road<\/strong>. A vast <strong>range of local food and drink businesses<\/strong>, including <a href=\"https:\/\/secretmanchester.com\/most-beautiful-restaurants-manchester\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretmanchester.com\/most-beautiful-restaurants-manchester\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_0\" data-category=\"click_internal\">restaurants<\/a>, bars, cafes and retailers, have signed up to run <strong>stalls and demonstrations<\/strong>, along with numerous musicians, kid\u2019s entertainers, choirs and bands that will provide entertainment.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DKeYuapNgKV\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>There will be plenty of food and drink to devour at the Urmston food and drink festival including dishes from<strong> JJ\u2019s Caribbean Kitchen<\/strong> known for their popular jerk chicken and curried goat; Indian restaurant<strong> Sai Surbhi<\/strong>, who won two prizes at the Asian Restaurant Awards last year; and<strong> Inforno Pizzeria<\/strong> who are highly-regarded in the town for their oven-baked pizzas. Further local independent businesses at the event include <strong>Flour &amp; Soul<\/strong>,<strong> Cof Cof Coffee<\/strong>, <strong>Banga Curries<\/strong>, <strong>Barrowfield Dog Park Cafe<\/strong>, <strong>YNOT Bar &amp; Restaurant<\/strong>, <strong>Dev\u2019s Ice Cream<\/strong> <strong>Company<\/strong>, <strong>Mulino<\/strong>, <strong>The Greek Village<\/strong>, and <strong>Pomona Island Brewery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\">Running from 11am to 5pm, the Urmston festival will also feature a number of <strong>artisan producers and drink retailers<\/strong> selling locally-made items which can be bought to enjoy at home.
