Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> is taking a break from her \u201cConfessions of a Female Founder\u201d podcast to focus on her business.<\/p>\n

The Lemonada Media-produced podcast premiered in April<\/a> and featured the Duchess of Sussex, 43, seeking advice from other successful female entrepreneurs while building her own brand, As Ever. For the show\u2019s first season, Meghan talked to guests including Bumble\u2019s Whitney Wolfe Herd<\/strong>, Spanx founder Sara Blakely<\/strong> and Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>\u2019s mom, Tina Knowles<\/strong><\/a>, who cofounded the singer\u2019s C\u00e9cred hair care brand.<\/p>\n

Meghan told businesswoman Emma Grede<\/strong> on the Tuesday, June 17, episode of the latter\u2019s \u201cAspire With Emma Grede\u201d<\/a> podcast that she is now taking on board all of the things she learned while making the podcast and putting them into practice.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love that there\u2019s so much excitement and desire for a second season, but I need to focus on my business,\u201d she reasoned.<\/p>\n

\u201cVery rarely do people see everything that\u2019s happening behind the scenes. I show a small glimpse of that, but equally, I wrapped season 1 of my Netflix series [and] still had to promote it, still had to be in edits for season 2 \u2026 I just wrapped edits on season 2 last week,\u201d she said, referring to her lifestyle show With Love, Meghan<\/a>, which premiered in March.<\/p>\n

Meghan continued, \u201cIt\u2019s still ongoing while also doing the podcast, while also building my business. At a certain point, the only thing I want spread thin is my jam!\u201d<\/p>\n

While \u201cConfessions\u201d is on pause for now, Meghan hopes to bring the show back after As Ever grows out of its infancy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would love to bring the show back when I am at a different end of my founder journey,\u201d Meghan explained. \u201cWhen I\u2019ve gone through Q4 and say, \u2018Here are my proof points \u2026 wow, what a year it\u2019s been.\u2019 Or even longer than that. I think a different time will be so exciting to compare and contrast.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know people want another one. I just made a choice to say, \u2018It\u2019s a really good time to put all of my energy into the thing that I\u2019m building,\u2019\u201d the royal added.<\/p>\n

Meghan\u2019s As Ever brand dropped its first line of products in the entertaining and cooking spaces in early April. The duchess\u2019 signature raspberry jam, wildflower honey, flower sprinkles and more sold out in less than an hour<\/a> via the As Ever website.<\/p>\n

As Ever shared<\/a> on Monday, June 16, that a second product drop will take place on Friday, June 20, featuring both old and new products.<\/p>\n
