You Can&#8217;t Hide."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Karma is a killer in the new trailer\u00a0for <strong>I Know What You Did Last Summer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The legacy sequel sinks its hook into\u00a0theaters on <strong>July 18<\/strong> from Sony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jennifer Love Hewitt<\/strong> and <strong>Freddie Prinze Jr.<\/strong> reprise their roles as Julie James and Ray Bronson from the 1997 slasher \u2014 and Hewitt even brings back her iconic \u201cWhat are you waiting for?\u201d line in the trailer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Madelyn Cline<\/strong> (\u201cOuter Banks\u201d), <strong>Chase Sui Wonders<\/strong> (Bodies Bodies Bodies), <strong>Jonah Hauer-King<\/strong> (The Little Mermaid), <strong>Tyriq Withers<\/strong> (Him), and <strong>Sarah Pidgeon<\/strong> (\u201cThe Wilds\u201d) lead the new cast.<\/p>\n<p>When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they\u2019re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer\u2026and is hell-bent on revenge.<\/p>\n<p>As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jennifer Kaytin Robinson<\/strong>\u00a0(Do Revenge) directs from a script she co-wrote with <strong>Sam Lansky<\/strong>, based on a story by Robinson and <strong>Leah McKendrick<\/strong>\u00a0(M.F.A.).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Billy Campbell<\/strong> (The Rocketeer), musician\/model <strong>Gabbriette Bechtel<\/strong>, <strong>Austin Nichols<\/strong> (\u201cThe Walking Dead\u201d),<strong> Lola Tung<\/strong> (\u201cThe Summer I Turned Pretty\u201d), and <strong>Nicholas Alexander Chavez<\/strong> (\u201cMonsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story\u201d) round out the cast.<\/p>\n<p>Original I Know What You Did Last Summer producer <strong>Neal H. Moritz<\/strong> returns to produce.
