\n More than 6,000 bikes passed through the ferry terminal\n <\/p>\n

Police in Liverpool say they’ve seen a reduction in motorcycle thefts during the 2025 Isle of Man TT Races.<\/p>\n

Over the racing fortnight, more than 6,000 motorcycles passed through the ferry terminal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a post on social media, Liverpool Police says it’s seen a 100 percent reduction of motorcycle thefts in the city centre when compared to 2024, which stood at five.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In Anfield, there were two reported motorcycle thefts, which is a 66 percent reduction compared to last year when officers were alerted to six thefts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A stolen car was located and recovered in the Ropewalks area of the city centre, and a scooter was seized after it failed to stop for traffic officers on Leeds Street.<\/p>\n

Liverpool Ports Police also arrested one motorist for drink driving near the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The results formed part of the partnership between departments in Liverpool, the Isle of Man Constabulary, car park providers and Lancashire Constabulary.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Operation Needle was also implemented, which is made up of the City Centre and Walton Lane Neighbourhood Policing Teams, which aimed to prevent any thefts.<\/p>\n
