{"id":19262,"date":"2025-04-14T13:11:11","date_gmt":"2025-04-14T13:11:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/19262\/"},"modified":"2025-04-14T13:11:11","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T13:11:11","slug":"azerbaijani-foreign-ministry-slams-frances-double-standards-over-regional-peace-efforts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/19262\/","title":{"rendered":"Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry slams France\u2019s double standards over regional peace efforts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/whatsapp_image_2024-08-29_at_170350.jpg\" alt=\"Akbar Novruz\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson of Azerbaijan\u2019s Foreign Ministry, Aykhan<br \/>\nHajizadeh, has issued a strong response to the recent comments made<br \/>\nby French Foreign Minister Jean-No\u00ebl Barron regarding regional<br \/>\ntensions, accusing Paris of adopting a double standard,<br \/>\n<strong>Azernews<\/strong> reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to Azernews, Hajizadeh stated on his official &#8220;X&#8221;<br \/>\naccount that \u201cFrance&#8217;s supply of lethal weapons to Armenia and its<br \/>\nlong-term anti-Azerbaijani position, which does not serve peace, do<br \/>\nnot correspond to the views expressed by Foreign Minister Jean-No\u00ebl<br \/>\nBarron regarding the emergence of tension in the region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Calling out the contradiction between France\u2019s words and<br \/>\nactions, the spokesperson said: \u201cThis dual approach shows the<br \/>\nhypocrisy of France.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hajizadeh further emphasized that \u201calthough the completion of<br \/>\nthe work on the peace agreement is an important event, its signing<br \/>\nand the achievement of long-term peace in the region require the<br \/>\nelimination of territorial claims to Azerbaijan in the Constitution<br \/>\nof Armenia and, above all, the elimination of foreign interference<br \/>\nby France, which serves to destabilize the situation in the<br \/>\nregion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also noted that \u201ccreating obstacles to the trial of persons<br \/>\naccused of crimes against humanity not only prevents these cases<br \/>\nfrom being conducted, but also undermines the issue of<br \/>\naccountability for the crimes committed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>        &#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here we are to serve you with news right now.
