Nottingham Forest are going to be shopping in a condensed market this summer, with European football on the radar for the club next season. <\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the UEFA Conference League<\/a> that awaits Forest in 2025\/26, with the club in Europe for the first time in 30 years. <\/p>\n

Nuno Espirito Santo<\/a> will want a few new players to bolster his ranks before the big kick-off in August, with four competitions for Forest<\/a> to fight for next season. <\/p>\n

Igor Jesus is set to sign for Forest<\/a> ahead of next season, with other forward players likely to be on the radar of the club before the window closes. <\/p>\n

Each department will likely be in need of reinforcement before the big kick-off, and hopefully, things will heat up on the recruitment side of things very soon. <\/p>\n

Forest were linked with Cambiaso over the weekend, but now they are going to face a real fight to land him. <\/p>\n

Not only will the left-back likely cost in the region of \u00a345 million, but The Athletic<\/a> claims that Manchester City are also in the mix to sign him this summer. <\/p>\n

City are currently at the Club World Cup, and after signing four players already this summer, there is a chance that they will still be active in the market. <\/p>\n

Cambiaso is currently at Juventus, and his future could be up in the air this summer, with plenty of interest from around Europe in his signature. <\/p>\n

The 25-year-old played 42 games for the Old Lady last term, scoring twice and registering five assists from his position on the left. <\/p>\n

Forest might have to lower expectations in transfer market<\/p>\n

The Reds were linked with Adrian Truffert<\/a> this month, but he\u2019s now gone to Bournemouth, with Forest potentially left to regret that call. <\/p>\n

Cambiaso would be a seriously impressive signing for Forest, but with City now entering the race, it probably showcases that he\u2019s a bridge too far. <\/p>\n

There is a lot to like about the Italian defender and it\u2019s admirable that Forest are keen to try and sign quality over quantity once again. <\/p>\n
