It will give you the chance to increase all of the IV stats of a chosen Pokémon. (Though doing so is going to take some work!)

Once released, you must meet these requirements if you want to Hyper Train a Pokémon:

We’ve got a whole guide on how to get a Gold Bottle Cap, so have a read if you want to learn more. It’s important to note, however, that Gold Bottle Caps are rare items in Pokémon Go and will only be given out on special occasions in a similar manner to Master Balls. Due to this, you’ll want to pick which Pokémon you Hyper Train wisely!

Making a Pokémon a Good Buddy is, thankfully, incredibly easy as they only need one Heart to achieve this state. If your chosen trainee Pokémon isn’t already at this level, all you have to do is make them your buddy before either playing with them once, taking one photo or feeding them three berries to get this first heart.

Once you’ve met both of these requirements, give your trainee Pokémon the Gold Bottle Cap to begin Hyper Training!

From this point onwards, Hyper Training will last 365 days (a year). You can set Training Goals by selecting how much you want to increase its Attack, Defense and HP IV stats by. (Very useful if you’re planning on using it in the Go Battle League!) These goals can be changed if you so wish.

How to Hyper Train in Pokémon Go: Training Tasks explained

Hyper Training is divided into three types of Training Tasks, with each type based around a specific IV stat – Attack, Defense and HP.

Each Training Task challenges you to complete a specific type of Pokémon Go activity and completing it results in an increase for the IV stat it’s connected to. The amount of tasks and their difficulty depends on how much you want to increase an IV stat by. Increasing the Attack IV from 14 to 15, for example, is going to be a quicker process compared to increasing it from zero to 15.

Here’s a look at the Training Task types and what you can expect to do for each one:

Attack – Battle with trainee Pokémon while it’s your buddy.

Example: ‘Win 40 Gym Battles with your trainee in your battle party.’

Defense – Interact with the trainee Pokémon as your buddy by playing with it, exploring or catching new Pokémon.

Example: ‘Catch 30 Pokémon with your trainee as your buddy.’

HP – Explore while the Pokémon is your buddy through activities like spinning PokéStops and earning Buddy Candy.

Example: ‘Spin 75 PokéStops or Gyms with your trainee as your buddy.’

Remember – you have 365 days (a year) to Hyper Train a Pokémon from the day you give it a Gold Bottle Cap.

As you can see, Hyper Training is focused around having your trainees as your buddy Pokémon. The time it takes to complete Hyper Training depends on the goals you’ve set, how often you play Pokémon Go and whether you decide to change your buddy to one other than the trainee. If you do decide to make this change for whatever reason, such as meeting an evolution requirement for Pokémon like Kingambit, then you must remember to change them back. If you don’t then you’ll lose valuable Hyper Training time!

Best of luck with Hyper Training!

Hyper Training lets you increase all of the IV stats – Attack, Defense, HP – for a chosen…

[3162
53,16,15,3243,3244
0":"post-193005","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-virtual-reality","8":"tag-technology","9":"tag-uk","10":"tag-united-kingdom","11":"tag-virtual-reality","12":"tag-vr
["GET
