Birmingham police seized 13 cars for the same reason during an operation.<\/p>\n

While officers in Stechford<\/a>, North Yardley, Erdington<\/a>, and Stechford have all recovered stolen vehicles which are now being returned to their owners.<\/p>\n

In a statement, West Midlands Police<\/a> said: “Our neighbourhood officers are on hand to keep you safe whatever the weather, and they\u2019ve been taking action in the sunshine on the community issues you\u2019re telling us matter to you.<\/p>\n

“One of those issues is around off-road bikes being used to cause a nuisance, and South Yardley<\/a> officers are working hard with our Road Harm Prevention Team to tackle it.<\/p>\n

“Their latest operation has been running at Heybarnes Recreation Ground, and if this is something you\u2019re concerned about in your area \u2013 you should report it via 101 or speak directly to your local neighbourhood team.<\/p>\n

“Also committed to tackling harm on the roads, officers in Billesley<\/a> have been dealing with reports of speeding by carrying out targeted operations in 20mph zones while the Shard End team carried out speed enforcement checks in various locations.<\/p>\n

“A separate operation by our Washwood Heath team, in partnership with the DLVA, saw 13 vehicles seized for having no tax.<\/p>\n

“Elsewhere, teams in Stechford<\/a> and North Yardley, Erdington<\/a>, and Stechford have all recovered stolen vehicles which are now being returned to their owners.<\/p>\n

“We appreciate you letting us know about the specific issues in your community, and you can meet your local officers at various events across the city.<\/p>\n

“Recently officers with the Springfield and Sparkhill Team have been at Sparkhill Park, South Yardley officers headed to a post-Eid family event, and Longbridge officers attended Lark In The Park to meet local residents.<\/p>\n

“Our Perry Barr<\/a> and Oscott team also found time during their patrols to wish students at Fortis Academy all the best as they finished their exams.<\/p>\n
