Adeddamola Adebayo has been reported missing from the capital.<\/p>\n

Police have launched an appeal to trace a missing teenager who vanished in Edinburgh<\/a> sparking welfare concerns.<\/p>\n

Adeddamola Adebayo has been reported missing from the capital on Monday, June 9. The 16-year-old was last spotted on Old Dalkeith Road and it is understood he then travelled to the Easter Road area of the city.<\/a><\/p>\n

He is described as 6ft 4ins tall, of slim build, with black hair. He was last sighted wearing a black t-shirt, black jogging bottoms and carrying a red duffle bag.<\/a><\/p>\n

Detectives say they were keen to trace him as soon as possible after admitting they were concerned for Adeddamola’s <\/a>welfare.<\/p>\n

Inspector Alan Healy said: \u201cOur enquiries to trace Adeddamola are ongoing, and I am appealing to anyone who has seen Adeddamola or who has any information about his whereabouts to contact us.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re concerned for Adeddamola’s<\/a> welfare and are keen to trace him as soon as possible to ensure he is safe.<\/p>\n
