In terms of our historic rivals, the fixtures against newly promoted Leeds United will take place on 3 January at Elland Road and 11 April at Old Trafford.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This season\u2019s battles with Liverpool are scheduled for 18 October at Anfield and 2 May in M16. The latter is our fourth-from-last fixture, so there will be plenty at stake.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The two Manchester derbies are also intriguingly scheduled: the first is booked for 13 September at the Etihad Stadium, with the second pencilled in for 17 January.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Traditionalists always look to the festive schedule, of course, and a home match against Newcastle United on 27 December offers plenty of excitement.\u00a0<\/p>\n
