He was 53.<\/p>\n<p>Kapur was the chairman of the global car parts company Sona Comstar and was well known in both royal and business circles. That photo is now believed to be the last ever taken of him alive. Witnesses told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2025\/06\/13\/billionaire-friend-of-prince-of-wales-dies-swallowing-bee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Telegraph<\/a> that shortly after that, Kapur suddenly cried out: \u201cI\u2019ve swallowed something!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Within seconds, he collapsed on the field. A bee had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/uk-news\/prince-williams-billionaire-pal-dies-35386133\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reportedly<\/a> flown into his mouth and stung him inside. The sting triggered anaphylactic shock, a severe allergic reaction that caused his heart to stop. The game was stopped, and teammates were left in shock.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, he had been playing with his team Aureus in the Queen\u2019s Cup against the Sujan Indian Tigers, a match often attended by members of the British royal family.<\/p>\n<p>Kapur\u2019s teammates later posted a tribute, saying: \u201cYou were the life and soul of our team.
