Popular American fast-food chain Popeyes has its sights set on Co Antrim<\/a> for its second location in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Popeyes <\/a>was founded in New Orleans in 1972 and is known for serving up American Southern-style chicken dishes, seafood and sides.<\/p>\n

Customers can expect chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, hot wings, wraps and more when the chain reportedly expands into Antrim town next month.<\/p>\n

The new location was revealed when job postings were advertised online looking for staff to join the Popeyes UK team at their newest store at The Junction retail complex.<\/p>\n

The job description reads: “At Popeyes UK<\/a> we are a bunch of big hearted dreamers on a mission to be the most loved chicken brand in the UK, we have a very ambitious growth plan and we want our people to grow with us.<\/p>\n

“Do you love life, do you want to just get the most of every day and do something you love with a team where you can just be yourself, enjoy the ride and create moment after moment of joy\u2026 for you, your team and our consumers day after day?<\/p>\n

“Like the vibe and what we are about?….come join the team, be a fan”.<\/p>\n

It has not yet been confirmed when we can expect to see the new location open its door or which unit Popeyes is moving into at The Junction.<\/p>\n

It’s first store in Northern Ireland<\/a> opened in September last year at Lesley Forestside Shopping Centre in Belfast to massive crowds hoping to be the first to get their hands on the Louisiana-style chicken.<\/p>\n
