But the shockingly low starting price for the property in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, comes with a major catch.<\/p>\n

Photos show that behind the boarded up door there is practically nothing there.<\/p>\n

The inside has been left exposed to the elements with crumbling bricks and a hole where the window should be.<\/p>\n

Debris has also been left on the ground and there are currently no walls or floors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The property, which has been put up for auction, has been described as a ‘shell’ on its listing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One home hunter joked: ‘The only house I could ever afford.’<\/p>\n

Another person said: ‘If the one grand includes permission from council and neighbours to demolish, build and renovate, it’s a considerable one.<\/p>\n

‘Without permissions, \u00a3100 is more than the potential.’<\/p>\n

A sixth person added: ‘People talking about the area.<\/p>\n

‘Even if it cost \u00a330,000 done up, you could get \u00a3500 a month rent.<\/p>\n

‘Where else are you going to get that return?’<\/p>\n

Someone else joked: ‘Very spacious and the natural light really accentuates the features.’<\/p>\n

It is also on Rightmove.<\/p>\n

The listing states: ‘This property is in shell condition but provides an excellent opportunity with a range of development potentials, subject to relevant planning.<\/p>\n

‘Hinde Street is conveniently located in Sheffield a stones throw from Meadowhall, Northern General Hospital, various retail parks, and great transport links including easy access to M1.’<\/p>\n
