There, she contributed to\u00a0<strong>real-world AI projects<\/strong>, conducting research and assisting in data analysis. This experience planted the seeds of a bigger dream.<\/p>\n<p>The Vision: Research Made Easier with AI<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, when\u00a0<strong>OpenAI released ChatGPT-3 Beta<\/strong>, Pranjali had a lightbulb moment. She realised the vast potential of\u00a0<strong>generative AI<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<strong>simplifying academic research<\/strong>, an area she was already immersed in through her internship.<\/p>\n<p>                <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Balwadkar.jpeg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"skip-lazy\" data-skip-lazy=\"1\"\/>                <\/p>\n<p>This idea eventually led to the birth of\u00a0<strong>Delv.AI<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<strong>January 2022,\u00a0<\/strong>an AI-driven platform that\u00a0<strong>extracts and summarises<\/strong>\u00a0information from\u00a0<strong>dense academic papers<\/strong>\u00a0and online resources, streamlining research for students, academics, and professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The Breakthrough: Funding and Global Backing<\/p>\n<p>Pranjali joined an\u00a0<strong>AI startup accelerator in Miami<\/strong>, where she pitched her idea with remarkable clarity and conviction. Investors were quick to recognise her potential. She raised an\u00a0<strong>initial funding of $450,000<\/strong>\u00a0(around\u00a0<strong>Rs 3.7 crore<\/strong>) from top firms like\u00a0<strong>On Deck<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Village Global<\/strong>\u2014the latter backed by\u00a0<strong>Bill Gates<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Mark Zuckerberg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Currently,\u00a0<strong>Delv.AI has a lean team of 10<\/strong>\u00a0and is growing rapidly. Despite her age, Pranjali is deeply involved in all aspects of the business, from\u00a0<strong>coding and product development<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0<strong>customer support and operations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Balance: Education and Entrepreneurship<\/p>\n<p>While her meteoric rise has led her to\u00a0<strong>pause formal education<\/strong>, Pranjali has made it clear that\u00a0<strong>academics are still on her radar<\/strong>.
