At about 07:24 local time today, a vigorous explosion took place from the crater vent. A grey ash column released tephra material to an altitude of 2,300 meters towards the northwest.

The PVMBG volcano observatory reported a seismic signal with a maximum amplitude of 32 mm and a duration of 76 seconds.
In order to mitigate risk, people are advised to avoid the area within a radius of 2 km from the crater.<\/p>\n
