Leeds United are reportedly keen on signing Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Brazil international moved to the Serie A side from Aston Villa ahead of the 2024\/25 campaign, but things have not materialised for him.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old started only a handful of games for the Old Lady and, in total, made just 19 league appearances.<\/p>\n

Luiz could be a decent signing for Leeds United<\/a>, bringing Premier League-proven quality and leadership to their midfield as they aim to solidify their top-flight status. <\/p>\n

The 28-year-old Brazilian offers a dynamic box-to-box presence, combining defensive tenacity with creative flair.<\/p>\n

He would arguably prove to be an upgrade over the Elland Road<\/a> outfit\u2019s current options like Ilia Gruev, Ao Tanaka and even Ethan Ampadu. <\/p>\n

Luiz\u2019s 18 Brazil caps and experience in high-stakes matches would add composure to Leeds\u2019 youthful squad. <\/p>\n

His \u00a334million valuation would see the Whites come very close to breaking their transfer record and his familiarity with English football ensures a seamless transition. <\/p>\n

While his disciplinary record needs managing, Luiz\u2019s work rate and ability to dictate tempo would elevate Leeds\u2019 midfield, making them more competitive against top-half sides and boosting their survival chances.<\/p>\n

It will be down to the 49ers<\/a> to start negotiating for Luiz and bring the price down, which should be possible given his subpar season. <\/p>\n
