\n\tLondon\u2019s Leicester Square was infected by the rage virus last night as it hosted the world premiere of Danny Boyle<\/a>\u2018s zombie-horror 28 Years Later<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tDeadline was on the red carpet to speak to the team behind the film, including Oscar-winning director Boyle, stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson<\/a>, Jodie Comer<\/a>, Ralph Fiennes<\/a>, Alfie Williams and Edvin Ryding, as well as Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures, Tom Rothman, who gives us a tip on an upcoming movie that will make its lead into \u201ca true movie star\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n\tYou can check out the highlights from our interviews below, which touch on Brexit, parenthood, eccentric characters, upcoming projects (\u201cI can\u2019t talk about it,\u201d Taylor-Johnson said with a smile), making movies for the big screen, and the sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn\u00a028 Years Later,\u00a0written by Oscar-nominated writer Alex Garland, it\u2019s been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped a biological weapons laboratory. And now, still in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amidst the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily-defended causeway. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well.<\/p>\n

\n\t28 Years Later is in theaters on June 20, 2025. <\/p>\n
